Background Information:
Elevate Consulting Utah provides strategic support that helps nonprofits, government agencies, school systems, and community organizations turn vision into funded, measurable impact.
Founder and Managing Member Kathleen “Kate” Bideaux is a nationally recognized nonprofit strategist and fractional development leader with more than 25 years of experience in education, nonprofit leadership, program development, fundraising, and community collaboration. Kate began writing grants as a teacher seeking funding for hands-on learning and community experiences for her students. Her early success led her school district to create a grant specialist position, where she helped secure more than $30 million in local, state, and federal funding.
Kate later led a local nonprofit and increased its annual budget by more than $1.4 million in just over three years. She secured substantial new government and foundation funding, developed strategic partnerships, strengthened programs, and expanded the organization’s capacity to serve children and families.
Today, Kate and the Elevate team help organizations develop strong programs, diversify revenue, strengthen operations, build lasting partnerships, and create measurable community impact. Collectively, Kate’s work has helped secure more than $150 million in public and private funding for nonprofits, schools, government agencies, and community initiatives.
Elevate brings more than grant-writing expertise to every engagement. We understand how programs, funding, partnerships, evaluation, communications, and organizational infrastructure must work together to create lasting impact.

Elevate Consulting Utah strengthens nonprofits and community organizations through strategic planning, resource development, program design, and hands-on support that turns vision into funded, measurable, and lasting impact.
Core Beliefs:
Mission Comes First
Every strategy, program, partnership, and funding decision should advance the organization’s mission and create meaningful community impact.
Strategy Drives Sustainability
Strong organizations do more than respond to immediate needs. They plan ahead, diversify revenue, strengthen internal systems, and build the capacity needed for long-term success.
Funding Follows Strong Programs
Compelling proposals begin with well-designed programs, demonstrated community need, realistic budgets, measurable outcomes, and a clear plan for implementation.
Relationships Build Resources
Sustainable fundraising depends on authentic relationships with funders, donors, partners, volunteers, and the communities organizations serve.
Collaboration Expands Impact
The most complex community challenges cannot be solved by one organization alone. Strategic partnerships allow organizations to combine expertise, resources, and influence to achieve stronger results.
Data Should Guide Decisions
Organizations should define success, measure progress, learn from results, and use data to strengthen programs and communicate impact.
Capacity Creates Opportunity
Organizations need practical systems, strong leadership, and the right support to pursue opportunities without overwhelming their staff or compromising their mission.
Big Ideas Need Practical Plans
Vision creates momentum, but execution creates results. We believe ambitious ideas should be supported by clear strategies, defined responsibilities, realistic budgets, and measurable goals.
